Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
My latest novel has been out for some time now so, as the author, I am quite keen to get some feedback from those who have now read it. When writing my five novels (One Winter, One Spring, One Summer, One Autumn and now Two Seasons) I have always tried to do four things. Firstly entertain my readers which means make them laugh. Secondly portray rugby League and those who follow it in a positive and accurate way. Thirdly i like to include a few true rugby league stories from the past so when he or she has finished the book, they have been made a little more aware about its fascinating history. Fourthly I like to combine fact and fiction and try to convince the reader that there really is a town called Ashurst situated some where near to Collins Green., Burtonwood and Newton le Willows. For those who have not yet seen a copy Two Seasons is on sale in the club shop or direct from the publisher London League Publications at http://www.llpshop.co ,uk
