It was a scrappy game played at a slow pace on a rain soaked night, Widnes were poor overall but with numerous substitutes I'm not going to get overally concerned. Warrington are a good side and only scored the 3 when we were down to 12 men. I think Ah Van has a lot to prove this season, he's been poor now for over a year and if he doesn't kick on this season i would be looking to release him......and i would stick jack with his wing spot for the opening games.

Thanks for that VM but why single out PAV in particular?Easy target for the boo boys maybe.I admit Patrick hasn't been at his best for a while now but it's the coach that picks him.Hope he has a good,injury free run this season and we get to see the PAV of old.

He's done most of this pre season but still ran out looking lethargic and with about 17 bandages on his legs, he also spilled the ball a few times with nobody around him and defensively he's all over the place. Out of a bad performance he looked the worst in my opinion. as i said previously its a big season for him.
