The return of Morrison was key in all this IMO, his leadership and enthusiasm have changed our season what a bloke. After the first half hour i was ready to throw all the toys out of the pram and walk home i was that gutted. Cullen then made the changes including taking Smith of and Morrison entered and visibly lifted the team, Kevin Penny had a very good game and his pace is frightening. Lee Doran stone me also had a good game infact i couldnt fault anyone in the second half.


The players and Cullen were bouncing at the end of the game and lets hope this is officially the start of our season!

Oh and that Gateshead number 4 deserves a lengthy ban for what he did to Hartley, i thought Cullen was going to knock his head off at one stage.

I was about to knock his head off, what a dirty bunch of players they have at Gateshead.

Brilliant comeback, Didn't think we had it in us. I've been sayin for a while we wont take off until Morrison is back... we have missed him big style! Like VM has said, the team was faultless in the second half.

Am I right in thinking Cullen was making the gesture that we will get on a roll at the end?

Nice to see Cullen showing the passion at the end of the game, taking Smith of was just the kick up the backside he needed. He came on later in the game and started running like he should have been doing weeks back. Smith and Duffy must now rotate every week to get the best out of both of them.

Did I see that right and see him body slam Tim onto the asphalt? Cullen should have ripped his bloody head off. I hope he gets cited for it and banned for a long long time.

Saw Hartley hitting the ground and the Gateshead player standing above him. If it was what it looked like and what others are saying it should have been a straight red.

Anyone know how Hartley is?

Cullen was constantly chatting to Webtser from the touchline and i think there is a clear problem between Cullen and Smith IMO. Webtser should be made captain IMO and Smithy should be rotating with Duffy at the hooking role.

I cant speak highly enough of Iain Morrison both as a person and a rugby player. Boy have we missed him this year.
