Vikings get Royal seal of approval : Thu Jul 16, 2009 8:29 pm
The RFL's commercial director Paul Kimberley was at a dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Tuesday night in honour of CCPR president Prince Philip.
As he was standing with Nathan Homer of Gillette before the dinner Paul was accidentally bumped by a passing guest, who stopped to apologise. The guest turned out to the Duke of Edinburgh who asked who they were. On being told they were from rugby league, the prince said he had seen rugby league on TV a few days before "I think it was Widnes and Barrow. Enjoyed it. Yes. There were some very good passages of play. Keep it up." www.widnesvikings.co.uk Lets get him down to the Stobarts! Dukey is a Viking Dukey is a Viking nah nah nah ooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu |
