When toulouse joined us last season , the RFL stated that because they had already signed 5 o/seas players they would be allowed them for one season only and then revert to 2 quota players ? It's absolutely outstanding that the RFL are continuing to be consistent, unwavering and supportive of clubs during this time.

Consistently two faced, unwavering in the face of warranted criticism and supportive of clubs only if they are in favour.

Someone will sue them one day over all this, and they will win.

I dare say some, or all, of them will now have French passports. I don’t suppose we can argue if that’s the case. There’s plenty of clubs over here that use passports of convenience.

They had these players last season and they were still hopeless, so I’m not too concerned about how strong they’ll be on the pitch. The real shafting is likely to happen in 2011.

Good point. Halifax's quota of foreigners is quite extensive this year. In fact they've pretty much defeated the purpose of having a quota.
