If, as looks increasingly likely, Widnes are granted a SL spot for 2012, when will it be announced. There are rumours that it will be confirmed come the end of the current season and if so, what will be your clubs recruitment policy for the 2011 Championship season? Are Widnes likely to start recruiting with an eye on SL at the end of this campaign, or will the club be leaving things until the end of the 2011 season?
Leaving things until the end of the 2011 season would definitely be to the detriment of your opening SL season in 2012, so whats the answer?

I'd like to know where these rumours are coming from because I havent heard anything.

I read somewhere that the decision was due in June 2011, giving the clubs time to prepare.

the decision is to be made in March next year

That was my understanding too. I think SOC mentioned this at a fans night.

This would give us some time to prepare.

Widnes will be told in March and Salford will get their news in October. Cas and Wakefield will be saved on account of their eventual agreement to share a stadium.
