They'd already confirmed this according to a radio show interview, so the fact that they are reitterating it makes me think two contrasting things. Either (a) they have been commited to this from the start and are just reaffirming this to the public or (b) the cynic in my says the radio show was a throwaway comment and they've only confirmed this now they have a club or two they believe they can make the step up.

Given that I trust the RFL about as much as I trust the Condem government I think the latter, but heres hoping that they do the right thing and promote us.
