Good luck to the guy. Lives over that way so it makes it an obvious choice. Been decent for us in the last couple of years.

Dissapointed to lose Jim for next season but not massively as be' wasn't in long term plans so no point breaking the bank for him for one year.

Serious point though Halifax, what are future plans) why have a fan group trying to raise funds for ne'er 23's whilst club spend away on players in final year or two of careers? Squad is strong enough anyway. Also as Chris said may e a template but how many mes can you 'beat iff' other clubs for numerous players and still cut cap and more importantly cover costs said were losing last year until 100k win (your fans words).

Becuase thats what the Trust do, Support the Club, Go on our forum and see what the Trust have done. We dont have a Big Money Backer to pay for everything. The club needs to maintain and build the crowds, this is done by on field performances and building on a successful 2 seasons. The Under 23's is the right way to go and the trust will fund this through their fans.

Gutted to lose Jim, without any sign of a replacement yet. I felt sorry for him and Smithy at times over the years. They have had to carry a weak pack for a long time now and, without good replacements for these two we will be screwed.
