Lets get whinging Widnes into Super League. : Fri Feb 11, 2011 1:47 am  

I really hope your club gets a place SL next time, i don't think i and many others could put up with another 3 years of hearing Widnes supporters bleating about not getting in.

Since the licences were given out last time we've had to put up with moaning from you lot non-stop. Your supporters boring everyone,everywhere. Vikings fans have been all over every internet message board they could find,teletext forums,Radio Manchester's and Radio Merseyside's RL programmes and the Rugby League press. 3 years down the line and your still banging on about it.

Other clubs were gutted that they didn't acquire a licence but they just took it on the chin and got on with it. Not the Widnes club or it's fans. Sour grapes are the order of the day.

I think a lot of the Rugby League community felt a bit sorry for your club at the time you didn't get a SL licence,but with still going on about it years later,fans of other clubs no longer have any sympathy for you as you've bored it out of everyone.

In any case,the Widnes sides over the last few years would simply have been canon fodder for Super League sides. It wouldn't have been much fun watching your side get destroyed week in, week out.

Where did you finish last season? About 8th in the 2nd tier was it? What gave you the right to waltz into SL just because you have a half decent ground?

Time for Widnes fans to face facts.
