So one of the guys who supported your club on your route to SL passes away today and not one mention on here of it.

A guy who's name is attached you your stadium... a guy who obviously backed your club... and that's the best you can do. You hide a condolence and rest in peace message in a topic about marketing effects.

I came on here to give my condolences as it seemed an obvious place to look... and I'm expected to trawl through your message board on the off chance that something may be hidden amongst another topic.

Give the guy some respect and at least create a thread for him.

Jeez calm down, a thread is already active on the trust in widnes board regards the sad passing, most have been out today so will be unaware of his passing.

he sold the company a few years before stobarts had anything to do with widnes. so whilst it is very sad and my heart goes out to his family its not really accurate to say he supported our rise to superleague in any great way. no more then my mum has really.

Very Odd....

Most RL fans don't visit your own personal message board... I see a guy who gave something to a RL club and want to at least pass condolences on that clubs message board. I'm sure he'd be over the moon knowing what he gave to your club justified a topic hidden as a cryptic clue.

He didn't give anything to widnes vikngs, he handed over the reigns a good while back. Stop making a fool of yourself.
