I have watched a re-run of the boots n all programme from this week , very strong rumours circulating that you are about to announce signing of Lockyer , Stevo put the question to Steve O Connor and just tried to get away from it with no denial.

What do you think as fans is it a stupid rumour or could it possibly happen.

It wouldn't surprise me with SOC. He has also said we are not going into SL to make up the numbers and we want World Class players to help the local lads so as to create a legacy. It could happen but the fact that he's now said he is retiring this season with Brisbane probably makes it a no-goer now. It's not that we haven't tried to get him though.

It's been reported in the press that we approached Lockyer with a serious offer, even though he's announced his retirement I still believe we've got some big named 'antipodeans' coming our way.. SOC means business and unlike some of the ignorant trolls that come on here to poke fun, we're not just going to be filling our side with rejects from the team losing their license and over the hill Aussies. We've 10 months to build a side now worthy of competing in Super League.

these trolls are just shitting in their johnny come lately, glory hog fan pants! they fear the rise of the vikings! seems to be mostly wire who didnt even know they had a rugby team until a couple of years ago.

people in glass houses should not throw stones . True our crowds have gone up over the last couple of years , exactly the same as yours will . Congratulations on getting back in the big league , but i for one do not fear the rise of the vikings as you put it , i am however looking forward to seeing the old rivalry back

Not at all looking forward to see who comes to widnes it will be very interesting actually . Spent few seasons at widnes few years back really enjoyed my time there great club great fans
Am glad they are back in super league really think they will shake it up and best of luck.

Your right though reception from Wire fans etc has been great. We'll get the odd few trolls having a pop but come on, we do slightly enjoy that too

Haha you won't get me on that one:)
I just think in general there is a few fans on here who just come on to wind opposing fans up but true rugby fans are delighted the Vikings are back.
Our squad shouldn't of been relegated

i have not thrown any stones. i have not said anything that is not true.
surely you would admit the existence of these johnny come lately supporters? you infer as much.
i was refering to several trolls in recent days, all claiming to be warrington supporters generally being knob heads on these boards. not warrington supporters in general. some of whom (the trolls i was refering to) seem overly aggressive towards us vikings. which i feel tells its own story.
as is obvious from my post i was not refering to wire fans in general.
not throwing any stones around here.
its manifestly obvious what these minority of warrington trollers have been upto on here.
