18-6 ahead and now its 50-18. Why not put Paddy to full back thacks to SO and get gerrard off. The difference is when Leigh spread the ball they look good, when we try to spread the ball we look terrified. Finnigan, meant to be the biggest signing, does Sweet FA. Steve Pickersgill, tackled well tonight but as always gave away a shed load of penalties we couldn't afford. Nothing more to say except decent following, Ben Kav was our best player tonight.

On that performance, we need at least 15-17 players for SL.

Dave Allen had a decent game, got through a lot of work defensively. Apart from that nothing much positive to say. Could see this result coming as soon as they brought the game level, thought half time may have stopped the flow of tries slightly but sadly not.

Well played Leigh it has to be said. However after revealing the stronghold membership this weekend, that wouldnt have attracted anyone. Thought Flynn was safe and did well, nothing brilliant but definately wasn't our worst player. CLUELESS

Widnes need a new team and a new coach, the support is there, the ground is there, but the main thing (team) isn't.

Awfully frustrating to watch, again played some great rugby in the early part of the game but failed to capitalise on it. Game turned just after Thacks slotted the penalty and we let that kick off bounce out.

Not sure what you expected but realistically i would say you want about 6 or 7 just to have a chance in this league. In SL to expect players playing for a mid table team to step up to SL is a big ask. Id say 3 or 4 at most would do ok.

The thing is though when you look at Cas and Hull KR when they got promoted, they kept a lot of their players and went on to do well. thats because they had successful players in this division, we havent. It doesn't matter to me about the 70 points we put against York, what matters to me and what concerns me is the 50 we got put past by Leigh. I know we are SL next year but we still have a full year of rigby to play. 2000 fans havent bought Season tickets for the sake of it, we want to see us winning. I was embarrassed watching that to be honest.

As a Leyther, obviously I reckon we played well - again. However, one of my big concerns, had I been a Vikings fan, would be what seems to be a distinct lack of fitness. I could be wrong, but the complete fade-out, in both games at Leigh, must be partly down to fitness? What do you guys think?
