Can anyone tell me how far it is from the town centre to the ground, is it walking distance and are there any pubs en route

Tricky one as town as depending where you are 5-10mins but no longer than that really. There are pubs in-between in most directions but tbh in 5/10mins doesn't make much difference from pubs / weatherspoons in centre to the social club / pubs in the ground.

Thanks so weatherspoons only 10 mins walk from ground, thats acceptable

10 - 15 mins really depending which way you approach and a few establishments on the way.

Widnes has gone rather crap though in the last few years for drinkies, saying that it never was great!

bring back toppers, broken glass and fat lasses!
