Not even that, you could have fit everyone in the south stand into a single block of seats and the north stand was not as full as it has been. Good following from Hull, looked to be 1600-1800 in the east stand.
It is disappointing, I was expecting 4000 there today but a lot of people will have been put off by the way we have been playing and would have been expecting a hammering, add to that some of the tight fisted season ticket holders who won't put the hands into their pockets to watch additional games and it isn't that surprising. It's a shame though because those who did go were treated to a very entertaining game that Widnes were not out of until I'Anson's stupid pass that seen Tom Briscoe go the length and effectively finish the game as a contest, but Widnes stuck in there and Hull's comedy try after the hooter made the final score look a little more one sided than the game actually was.
