He played in our academy before being released and joining the Miners. Same with Ridyard.

Varkulis definitely played in our Under 18's and possibly the Alliance/Reserves as I remember him being on the fringes of the first team at one point, albeit as a centre.

I am fairly sure Varkulis played 1 game in the first team at Leigh 2002 ish
