Might be closer than you think, we have JJB out, I image some of our other players will be rested after bruising encounter with manly, and teams don't always do so well after a cup win. We will see, looking forward to the game, hopefully you don't start to turn round the results against us!!!!! Because you will soon I personally didn't have you down to finish last, and sure you will pick up some big scalps along the way

spoke to watts today. can confirm he reckons hes out for the season and will be seeing the surgeon tomorrow. Maximum respect to the guy though, he said he shouldnt have played 'but wanted to get stuck in because of the tonking we took at huddersfield'.

He's confirmed on twitter his ACL has gone. Out for the season. He said he shouldn't have played but wasn't that hamstring related and not ACL? I've got a friend who's done his twice and it's not easy to recover from. Hopefully a full time environment will help.

And ferdy it won't matter what team you put out, the likes of your younger players Watkins and bishop will run riot

not sure, he was shopping in my place of employment this morning (wont do a plug) and said he was out last year because of the same thing, i quess hes just beset by the injuries. but again, the man obviously has the heart of a lion and i salute him for bravely ( if foolishly) having a go.

On paper our youngster should run riot, but it ain't played on paper, I wouldn't be too quick to write your team off. (haven't we got this the wrong way round? I should be telling you we will stuff u and visa versa!!!!)

My mate did one of his knees, recovered, did the other one and then the first one went again. It's definitely not an injury to rush back from, even if it's not in a widnes shirt, for his sake if he's ever going to play rugby again he has to give this time. Before you say, I know he's only 25 but it really is a painin the backside injury.

Haha fair enough, I hope we win obviously but our injury list at the moment is shocking. After witnessing Huddersfield and Salford stroll through our defence I'm not confident. However, dare to dream

So gutted about Watts! The way he played at Saints in the friendly was awesome, making breaks and throwing the ball around! He got all the lads organised and we actually looked like a rugby team. Without him I fear were doomed to a long hard season of 5 drives and a kick. Really hope they sort out some kind of pay as you play deal for next season.

Ferdy thanks for the kind words but really cant see us keeping you guys under 50 points this week.

Don't getme wrong I am fairly confident of a win but in sport you never know. Last time we won the WCC the lads went on a 3 day bender!
The best thing for Leeds probably is to rest a few players and get some fringe players in who will be hungry to prove what they can do. And it is good motivation for your team to do the newly crowned club champions.
