I know weve had our say obout Denis , just got to say to Denis and the Team a Big Big well done on todays performance at times outstanding and other times awful ,but think the supporters got today effort and commitment and think a massive positive and thats all we want well done lets move on as a stepping stone to me, today that was my FINAL

Bloody unlucky imo...keep a tight hold on that young full back jack owens...gonna be a star that kid!!

Think Jack was awsome and stepped up well above his years today real star of the future

Watched the game back when I got in last night and thought how embarrising Denis betts looked stood in box drinking a cup of tea from a mug. I was half expecting the biscuits to come out and start dunking them.

I was pleased for Denis today ,think he enjoyed this game which we was never going to win but so so close we've had a torrid time this year but glad to see him smiling well if I say it my self I loved ut showing a great bit of character

So impressed with Owens and Craven yesterday. Owens positional play was top class and Cravens ability to land a bomb about a yard short of the try line was crazy!

It's players like those that Widnes need to build a side around.

That's part of the reason our first team have been so poop over the last few seasons. The club have had a heavy emphasis on youth (cue littlrich) .

To think that some bloke in front of us was slagging Craven off and shouting for him to get taken off the field against Bradford last week is amazing. He was quietened down with a flea in his ear!

There are some good young lads at the club but it's hard to throw too many in at once when the team are getting 'pummelled' so often.

Just like to echo the comments re; Dennis Betts. Glad he seemed relaxed and seemed to enjoy the effort. I don't particularly want him out, I just want someone who can get yesterdays effort out of the team week in week out.

I have been a big critic of Betts but good to see him smile.He does need to sort our defence out and possibly a defence coach assistant is required.With Scott Moore gone we may improve.Jack Owens and Craven I hope play regular.Only improve with game time.

Good effort though yesterday. Need that "30 something" defence sorting though.
