rumours up here in cumbria them 2 are signing for whitehaven next season as anybody heard anything about that

Allen massively rumoured to be coming to Leigh around these parts.

Dave Allen is a free agent now having not had his contract renewed, he was unlucky imo not to get a new contract after putting in some impressive displays at the back end of last season. Ben Kavanagh will be in the last year of his contract and although he's a long serving member his performances have never kicked on, he's a big lad but lacks the work rate and i don't think many will be fussed to see him go.

Big year coming up for Ben.He's shown potential for a long time now and it's time to deliver. Good luck to him,I am sure he can do it.

I posted on TIW how bizarre it was to see Dave Allen listed on the Viking Official Site in his Whitehaven kit, at least he has been deleted even if the rest of it hasn't been updated to include our new signings!
