I'm speaking only after our experience of a mixed full and part time side in 2006 where the full time players allegedly filled the days drinking instead of training - you need to find summat for them to do during the day or it all ends in tears. If they're already doing community work or even have another job then fair enough, but too much free time usually leads in one direction, and that's not to the top of the league.
