I'm speaking only after our experience of a mixed full and part time side in 2006 where the full time players allegedly filled the days drinking instead of training - you need to find summat for them to do during the day or it all ends in tears. If they're already doing community work or even have another job then fair enough, but too much free time usually leads in one direction, and that's not to the top of the league.

There was an article in one of the matchday programmes about what the full time players do (inc Webster) and they do work for the community department and the Valhalla Foundation too visiting schools and youth clubs and associations. I believe they are kept quite busy. I also wouldn't be surprised if they aren't expected to carry out some of their training still. Weights and Fitness etc

If so, then fair enough. Summat must be wrong, given your results though (and long may them continue )

If i remember correctly was'nt it the Viking players that were spreading the gospel of RL in the area of Crewe/Middlewich/Sandbach a few years ago when i lived there or was it Warrington players?
