Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

I don't think we were out played. I think we just made made it harder for ourselves with poor tackling, discipline and silly handling errors. If you are constantly gifting possession and field position to the opposition while tackling like girls, as we did yesterday, you're going to struggle against anyone.

We're still looking poor in the pack, although Pickersgill and Varkulis looked a lot better than usual. With Hall here and Toa fit again, Varks can stay in the pack. Perhaps we can now drop Doran, with Varkulis, Banister, Fletcher and Morrison in contention for a back row place with Patterson likely to be back at loose soon. Doran is now becoming a major liability. Ostick was nearly as bad though.

Any team that wins 44-18 has not been outplayed! The scorline, especially one that lopsided doesn't lie.

We were the better team for the first 15 mins, for the next 10 mins it was pretty even, then for the next 15 mins they were the better team.

In the second half the first 10-15 mins was even after that we pretty much dominated. So break it down over the whole 80 mins we were the better team but from 15 mins in to 15 mins in the second half they edged it.
To say we were outplayed is outrageous.

We scored 8 tries to York's 3 and you say we were outplayed. Fair enough I bow to your greater knowledge of rugby league.

Well if you're so easily pleased with mediocrity then good for you and bow down to my "greater knowledge" as you put it if you must..

We're cack and Featherstone are going to hand our arses to us on plates next weekend and deservedly so too.

I'd agree, the handling errors and discipline are costing us dear. They almost certainly cost us the game last week and could have cost us the game this week. I actually thought we tackled quite well early on. We scored our 2nd try in the 8th minute and they didn't score their 1st until the 33rd. In the 25 minute gap in between those tries, it was mainly York attacking our line which we defended sucessfully. Obviously with the constant wave of attack after attack, we were going to conceed eventually. We did start to drop of tackles towards the end of the 1st half, but I suppose it was bound to happen with the amount of tackling by us and off-loading by them.

Its quite simple really, you can't win the game without the ball and the errors and discipline are 2 things that have been costing us all season.

I think we’ll have to see what happens next Saturday night before we make any judgment on that.

Personally I always live in hope. :D

York did have an awful lot of possession on our line in the first half. But, time and time again, we failed to take man and ball and allowed them to constantly offload. They wouldn’t have had half that time on our line if we had taken both man and ball and stopped them offloading.

Can you tell me where I said I was pleased with the performance we were poor.
I said that for spells in the game York were the better side, that shouldn't happen, we were getting beat at half time and against York that shouldn't happen!
What I did say is that we were not outplayed, which we were not!
As to bowing down to your greater knowledge of rugby league....................isn't sarcasm a wonderful thing?

Well that's your opinion and you're quite welcome to it. I and plenty of others see it differently. Besides which I've got better things to do that argue the toss over something we'll never agree on.

Shame it's lost on some..
