You miss the point. McDermott tried to play the hard man from the off and failed, he didn't make the same sort of impact after that. Gannon did not take a backward step all afternoon and was still looking to score right at the end.

Brett McDermott was the one who came out to intimidate Gannon and failed miserably. Barrow played their part in what was a brilliant advert for this league, which showed a skill and physicality level of any SL game.

McDermott made the break that led to Luisi's try. Watch the vid.
