Yes I can see your point to some extent mate. But on the whole it was a pleasant day, and I for one thought our fans helped to create a frigging awesome atmosphere, not only in the ground but also outside and around the town. Saw a couple of minor 'incidents' outside the Manchester public house on the front, but nothing to warrant any further action, the doormen had it firmly under control. On the journey back between Preston and Wire BQ, there were a few lads/men a bit worse for wear and in high spirits but IIRC nothing major, just a bit of harmless singing and chanting. Loved 'lets all have a disco' on the train. Although i suppose that'd be slightly annoying if your a standard passenger who is trying to enjoy a peaceful journey back to Birmingham New st before work the next morning.
One lad who was speaking to us, ran through the 'peace fountain' on Bridge st which at the time we thought was bloody hilarious, although I bet he wished he hadn't done by the time he got home.
In response to the OP, yer the singing started early and boy don't I know it, I am still suffering now.
