we know that, were just waiting for the franchise Balloney to go out the window which it will do eventually.

we have also ticked the box same as you,
the youth team i beleive is getting set up again this season.
who gives a hoot about an all seater stadium, Bradford, Saints, Wakey, Cas, Celtic, infact you might be the only team in super league with an all seater ground and all the teams i mentioned above will get a franchise.
our stadium is more than up to scratcdh to host super league rugby and you know that.

cant really compete with the backer.

the support the only times you got 4 or 5,000 was when you were handing out free tickets.

yes you have bigger attendances than us but trust me our attendances will increas this season compared to last season, you dont know what it will be like in another year and a bit when we get applying.

to summarise, yes we know we have not a cat in hells chance but you should be worried about being shaffted as well, cause they want expansion and i would say that they would take Barrow Cumbrian team and Toulouse why else were they put in our league apart from to give them chance to set something up.

we know we dont have a chance but you shouldnt be too confident about your chances either,

i'm just waiting till the franchise system goes out of the window and it will guarenteed and they bring back super league.

you can have super league were playing the best rugby we have played for a while right now and am quite happy to watch us win most weeks than go up and struggle to make an impact.

I was devastated last time and will be again if we dont get in.


Without sounding big headed, if we dont get in for 2012 then nobody will ever get in from the heartlands again unless there is a change at the top in the RFL.

As for attendances we have always averaged around 3500/4000 in this division and that will continue. And until you reach that mark you will always be known as Tinyfax.

maybe we might not have the attendances at the minute but you know that ecen though you might be have a more rich history behind you. you know that behind you there is no more successful team in this division in the past as us.

we are the 2 most successful teams in this league with the most decorated history of challenge cup titles and league titles and even a world club championship behind your goodselves.

we will start getting back up to that, we had a fan base at thrum hall and i cant see a reason why we cant get that back again if we keep playing the entertaining rugby that we did last year.

i agree that you should have been put in super league last time but thats just the way you want it and you know that they will be looking to keep the expansion going. Toulouse were put in our league solely so they could be shot straight up to super league for the next franchise.

Barrow will also be looking and you might not have as many clubs around you but you have Wire and to some degree Saints, whereas Barrow have no super league club arond them and will have a great chance if they can sort out there facilities.

Most Fax fans know that they will probably be left out in the cold for maybe even years to come but we have super league clubs around us but you have to say that we have better facilities than some of the teams that are aorund us, like Cas and Wakey

you know that the RFL have left you out once and you know that they arnt messed up enough to do it again.

and also i like Widnes as a club as well the fans there are fantastic.

they have turned up in force at the shay 4 times last season and i know that if they had to do the same again then they would do.

you sometimes find that successful clubs have fans who can be arrogent and think they are everything but your fans despite the rich success thst you have had still maintain a respect for the level you are playing at and the teams you are playing.

you have a lot of dignity and despite your success in the past your fans are extremmely down to earth there will always be some ideots at every club including fax but generally i find by sending a few messages on here that you guys know your rugby and you are a credit to your club most of you.

now i'm going to blow fax'es trumpet and say that our fans are similar as well most down to earth and not arrogent despite the success we have had in the past.

lets hope we both get in although i seriously doubt we will get in.

To be honest i have gone pass worrying now as super dooper illegal rugby will do whatever they want.I prefer teams to spend what they like and promotion and relegation every year.I like french,celtic,london out of it and bring heartlands back.I miss playing warrington and saints.But now i try enjoy derbies against leigh and fax.You seem down to earth and hope see you at stobarts next year.

Massive FAIL

Widnes v Halifax - Fri 31st July - Att: 4,039

Widnes v Leigh - Fri 10th April - Att: 4,354

There's two examples where we achieved over 4,000 without any free tickets.
