I was pleasantly surprised at how organised we looked given the disrupted pre-season that all clubs have had.
After a disjointed first quarter we gave as good as we got. And even though it was an largely inexperienced Saints team we've been given the runaround by their kids in previous pre-seasons so it was good to be competitive.
As for the attendance, Man City v Man U on BBC will have kept a few thousand away.
