Sounds like a decent effort. With the Widnes players being young lads, and looking at the scoring pattern, looks like they ran out of steam playing against physically more mature players.

I'm sure the experience will be good for the lads.

Why was Thompson playing today? i thought he was looking like a good bet for a spot in the centre and we currently dont have any fit in terms of Kohe Love/Varkulis and Dean at Saints.

Gutted thompson played, i think he is good enough for the first team.He is a revelation and think he deserves a chance.

The squad list for the Carcassonne game was made up before TKL pulled up with his injury. With no definate team list from today's game, there might have been changes and Thompson might have been saved for the 1st team.

From the vids attached it doesnt look like Thompson, Hulme or Houghton played.

A couple of nice half breaks from Mullally though.
