As a fax fan i agree to a point with what your saying, your off field and youth activities are ahead of us, no question.
But we as a club really need to bring home the bacon and win something and get the town buzzing again. If we didn't get games against yourselves and Leigh where theres an atmosphere it would be even worse. Im sure during this season well start putting things together to move beyond what seems like ticking the same boxes. Its a good point, i've made on our own forum also many times, Tony Anderson tried the youth policy though and it cost him his job, and now we see some of those kids like Grix doing rather well, theres not a lot of patience sometimes because its a results business.
As i said before i hope we both have strong years and can meet in both finals so the fans get a taste of real rugby league, with history, passion and atmosphere. Always looked out for Widnes since the mid 80's when i started watching rugby. Good club.
