I remember seeing him at Batley away in the NR cup not too long after it was announced officially that his wife was battling this horrible disease. He walked in front of the fans and he looked a fairly shattered man compared to last year.

My thoughts are with him and his family.

I think this was always likely to be an on-going situation, and will be until Mrs Cullen finally gets the all clear. She will be going through some unpleasant treatments and will need her husband with her quite a lot while suffering from the effects of these treatments.

My heart goes out to the Cullen family at this time.

Best wishes tothe Cullens. Like VM, my family too has been hit by the disease. It puts rugby into perspective, it's not all that important when lives are at stake. That said, I hope the team rise to the adversity and do him proud in his absence.

best wishes to Mr Cullen & family from all at Toulouse Olympique - my good lady has been fighting this horrible disease for five years,she refuses to give in to it - Paul was a tough cookie as a player,he needs to be extra-strong now - good luck to him and a safe trip to all the Vikings fans when you come down to play us

Best wishes to Paul and his family. It's times like these when we realise that rugby league is just a game and doesn't really matter, rivalries are put aside and we wish him and his family all the best.
