I don't think Charlie Caroli is one of those "think before you speak" types.

Doran without his penchant for giving away stupid penalties is one of the best forwards in this division, still. On the odd occasion where his temperament is impeccable there is rarely a better player on the pitch.

No penalties conceded against Batley and only two against Leigh--hardly the penalty machine he used to be.

I don't have to justify why Doran has been excellent for us this year on the whole, you've seen him twice at best, I've seen him every week. Doran was certainly not our worst player on Sunday, the majority were 'dreadful', as you put it.

True, you're in a far better position to judge how good a season he's had. Its just from the times i've seen him play (twice against Leigh and at home to Toulouse), i've not been impressed. And yes, the majority of your team were dreadful. The only ones I thought came out with any credit for you were the full back, and Mark Smith. You looked a different team when he was on the pitch.

I really do hope that this rumour of Widnes bringing there reserves and under 18's isnt true.

Halifax are trying to prepare for the play offs, you still arnt out of the picture.

we are trying to prepare for the play offs with hard games which we will get in the play offs.

the preperations won't be helped any by turning up and beating you by 30 points, we need to test our defence,

i like doran, bit of a hot head and 9 times out of 10 makes yards for fun! im sure your fans had a pop or two at nannyn on sunday

as for the song we sang at doran , i believe its called banter. should try it

Come on, there's banter and there's shouting explicits at someone whose played well in your colours. Nanyn didn't get any chants about him and Widnes fans on the whole are still fans of Nanyn. Without going off point too much, the Nanyn singing from Leigh amused me, he played better for Widnes but then he was 'fat' and couldn't defend, now he's a superstar.

Back to Doran, people jump on a bandwagon from a couple of comments and assume they're true forever i.e. Doran is a penalty machine. Cullen has changed his game and he just isn't anymore, last year fair comment, this year different player. He'll give them away, as does everyone else.

Somebody said it on the Wire forum when we signed Pickersgill, (penalty machine), then everyone jumped on the bandwagon and he's anything but a penalty machine.

With respect, preparing Halifax for the play offs probably isn't high on our agenda!

Putting a side out that will fight for the cause probably is.
