I've heard the following has been stealthed in:

Must play in black and white.
Must be on the banks of the Mersey.

“We’re looking to supply three or four players for the World Cup team in 2013 and beyond.”

Perhaps you should start by providing three or four players to the England Academy squad. Something which you supposed top quality yoof setup failed to do this year.

All our lads can do is win the league, we don't select the squad! Bare in mind that academy squad also had lads a few years older and a decent % who played SL rugby this year

We don't have an academy. We put our money into first team, won the league. You put your money into the academy, won their league. We are using our First Team success as the basis for our license bid, you are using your academy as the basis for your license bid. However our boss isn't claiming that these players are going to be playing for England in three years time.

FYI, the last time we did run an academy we produced several players who have played international rugby this off-season and a few more who were on the fringe of selection to the England team.
