Leigh for the league, as Frank B predicts that so must be correct. Widnes for the franchise, so i wont care less after that result.If we can get into the top 4, and play a few u18s with potential i be a happy man.A northern rail cup final be nice.

the children of halifax have got the countrys best place to visit in the EUREKA centre just on the road from the shay. what more could they want?

Fans are deserting the game of RL full stop, I have supported the game all my life and early/mid 1970's apart this is a very low point for the game, hardly any publicity even for the big boys and a poor national team who lost to the Aussies yet again. The RFL having to give huge subsidies to get big crowds at the prestige games like the Grand Final/Challenge Cup Final (big discounts like buy one get one free, get a £31 ticket for £26 etc.,..) and fans at our level totally alienated by the baffoons at the top plus teams who add nothing apart from where they are based to the game being in SL, step forward Crusaders and Harlequins.
I just support my own club now - Fax.
Its sad, very sad to see former RL strongholds (not huge clubs like the Wigans of this world but still used to have a loyal fanbase all the same) like Oldham, Workington, Whitehaven, Rochdale, Swinton and Keighley struggling to survive. Yet these areas have supplied many players to the game over the years.
I long for the day that Sky and the Fat Controller with his sidekick sod off and let us have our game back.

My hopes for 2011 well apart from the obvious in March i really want us to kick on and win the the league, we as fans deserve that, not really bothered about the NRC let someone else have a go. Win the grand final and finish top of the ladder. Oh and stay as injury free as possible.

Wont support that rubbish team.Once a Widnes fan it is for life, and i think he prefers to watch Superleague in 2012.

The License is already in the bag

We need momentum from results/performances next season to go into the SL era full of positivity and a belief that we'll be able to compete at that level.
