forget nanyn our centres will run rings round him the form there in now and getting better week by week and tyrer is just as good of a goal kicker has him
bleedin ell, all the flak aimed at us, thought we'd lost 36-10 !!! No it wasn't a great game, as our 24-4 win at Batley wasn't, but if you guys beat us on the 27th March, would it matter to you if you didn't play with too much flair ? To be honest, if it's your own team or if you're watching as a (kind of) neutral, you see it differently. Pity our 68-6 win over Sheffield wasn't on Sky !!!!

You did well Dave, getting full praise out of us will be difficult though.
aye, came on here looking for a bit of 'praise/admiration/jealousy'.........ha ha ha all the best at Sheffield, doubt they've become such a bad team overnight, though can't see them getting a bonus point, as they have yet to achieve a good result this season. Really looking forward to the 27th !!!!!!
these much talked up leythers do not phase me the vikings will soon be pillaging the Leigh sports village as they have done countless other villages over the centuies! burn their homes! take their women!
I thought Leigh looked quite good. Hard match to judge though because Fev were so light upfront. Surprised Leigh didn't pull away earlier than they did, but they got quite sloppy at times and almost let Fev back into it. When Leigh cut out the penalties and errors, Fev just couldn't cope. Leigh were making that many yards per set that Fev were on the back foot for most of the game.
With that sort of side and performance you could see Fev losing a few more early season until they get players back. Regarding Leigh, as per usual it looks massively important to compete with them down the middle and we've not done that for past couple years - IMO we have got the tools to do that this year (that is if we can get them all fit).

Paul was enjoying his role at 9 with that pack running off him, Bibey is having a great season so far and with Nash/Mills being interchange props it was relentless down the middle.
Leigh have a big pack but I'm not seeing any real classy players to win a tight tussle. Millwards bin at the just for gingers again.
I thought Leigh looked okay tonight.. still a bit rusty but it's early days and Millward obviously wants them to move the ball around. Overall a fairly handy squad there. Ridyard looks decent enough but the point is valid whether he will operate well in an arm wrestle type match. Was surprised to see Nash go off. That guy looks like he is made of glass?
When we play them it is vital that our line speed was as good as it was at Fev to get in there faces. Forwards wise.. get them round the legs and all they go down!

Have to see if we see Blythe again.
Roll on the Sunday derby !!!!!!!!
Blythe is doing very well at Warrington, and talking to a Warrington fan says that Bridge will have to fight for his place.I think Leigh will be lucky to get him back, as i feel he will be in the 17 every week.Watching the game i think Leigh will be up near the top with Widnes.Fax and Fev will battle it out for 3rd place.Barrow 5th or 6th for me this year.Cant wait till the 27th March or should i say 31st March?
