In defence of Pickersgil he is a very decent player. I think he is frustrated that his Widnes playing career is constantly interrupted with injury though and is desperate to get back and prove his mettle.
If he can channel this in the right direction then I'm sure we will see the same sort of player we saw in the spells he was fit in 2009 and 2010.

Maybe he is frustrated matey, but no defence in giving away silly penalties.To build his confidence up i think 3 or 4 reserves games be better.I would love him to play as good as Hecky,Varks and Kavs at prop.More calm now i do have alot of passion as you probably gather. I stop winking for you Vikingman, as i am going blind and red on my tackle. Time to move on, but i believe discipline is imperative against Leigh.Could not believe I,Anson getting into a fight when we was attacking near the Hunslet line.

Frodsham played against Toulouse. He came on and looked nervous/scared in his first couple of drives against a big, physical pack. His second spell in the game was slightly better but not much.
Would have to improve massively on that to get in the 17 IMO.

That's dissapointing to hear. He was somewhat touted as a future star, playing very well in his age groups and capataining England under-whatevers.
Injuries have really stopped him from competing for a 1st team spot for saints (he has made a few), so a new season and a fresh start really seemed like a good way for him to build some momentum. Perhaps as we settle into the season, he'll improve?

Let me know if/how he gets on against the Leythers this weekend.
