Don't think Calland took cut due to cap but just to lead by example as players under cap and Fax needed them to take cuts!

I agree however that I believe that the coach doesn't come under the salary cap in the championships.

The whole Fax extra cap think was a joke tbh based on statements they maid pre decision that they were 'well under the cap' not blaming them or decision as they played it well tbf.

We were not the only club operating on dispensation from the RFL, there was at least 2 clubs over the cap. Dont know who the other ones were but it was on the RFL website at the time that there were a few clubs who were above due to contracts being signed etc.

At the end of the day its the RFL's fault for changing the rules so fricken often.

Widnes and Barrow IIRC..... A lot of Leythers thought we were one of them, but I think it was shown that we weren't, and Widnes and Barrow were only over due to accountancy issues?

I didn't think we were? And also lead to believe SO'C and Widnes also agreed to the decrease (maybe just playing nicely with RFL but still).
