Thacks is not in the class of either of those too. Not even in his strongest trait of playing off the cuff with his show and go's.

We know Thacks isnt a playmaker and for me that is his downfall. He cant create for others and when he is stifled in creating himself he hasnt many other strings to his bow to fall back on.

Provided some great tries for us but this year ive got a little bit sick of him and the number of inside ball's and particularly show and go's when there are better options to be taken and others running decent lines that he ignores.

Yup!

He played and was pretty quiet tbh but with a beaten pack no surprise. Club said decisions made 'on this seasons form' will we started 7/7 playing well so basically it's based on the last months form... Worth note the lads just had a baby and living away from family, oh and he's not the only one who hasn't performed.

Shocked & dissapointed tbh.

Ha ha mcguire and myler are different class, myler is also a scrum half btw.


How many times have Widnes had players in space and Thackeray has ball hogged? Fecking loads. He's also and unfairly given players a right earful this year for crap decisions he made.

Right decision bad timing.

Mellor has also played on the winning side at the Stobart this season.

Looks a quality player and better than Thacks.I am happy we have got rid of these players and maybe more if do not turn up and play.
