You're not wrong Madoggy, there's a few 'precious' folks about due to the way we've been playing and the fact that Betts has been named as our SL coach. It's not that much of a shock really is it ?

Across the board there seems to be a reluctance from most clubs fans to cough up for the earlier rounds of the cup and were no exception.

I can understand people wanting to swerve yesterday and to some extent I can follow the majority of reasons.

They missed out on a decent game though which is their own problem but I dodnt think it is going to be much f a reflection on our SL crowds when we will pull more than that in on Thursday for Barrow when the season tickets are valid again.

Don't think that's the point though Pete. It was - or should have been a dress rehearsal for our fans for next season but the shortsighted tightwads couldn't be ar$ed.

They could have added to a good atmosphere and seen what it's like when a big club comes to town.

BTW, what was the attendance at your gaff?

Don't see it as a massive issue. I suspect people were expecting a drubbing and that coupled with having to pay meant there were a lot of stayaways.

I couldn't go unfortunately. It wasn't in my hands this time but there were quite a few on here who couldn't go for one reason or another. It's a shame the crowd wasn't massive but what are you going to do?

It was 2150 or 2,905. That's the two figures I've seen.

Ouch, that is bad - either number. It's sad how far the CC has fallen as a point of interest. How many did Fev bring?
