Nothing more frustrating as writing something once and then accidentally closing the page and losing it all meaning you have to start again.
Anyways... In terms of yesterday's game I thought it was really enjoyable and one that Widnes looked very comfortable in. It did look like we might rack up a cricket score at one end but there is no doubting that they began to coast and took their foot off the pedal. There were obviously times when the team suffered from lapses of concentration but it never looked like we would throw the game away.
I was particularly impressed with some of the flair play that was on display yesterday. The team are far more cohesive these days with players that make a break often finding that they have one or two options in support. The understanding is much improved also.
Individually I thought Gore looked good and he had no issues with confidence whatsoever. He was a willing runner attacking the line and I would be looking for more games to play him in. He will only benefit from more exposure to this league.
Special mention for Leuluai also who showed the ball control of Lionel Messi at one point.
Most importantly we continue to climb up the league and it's disappointing that we have another break coming up before the Toulouse game. Alas for me I won't see the team play again until Batley at the end of the month.
