I remember Alaves having a shirt like this when they played Liverpool in the UEFA cup final 2001! Wonder if that's where SO'C had picked it up from? Brilliant, just brilliant! You've got to love this club on this side of things!!!

i think it depends on the colors really. it could be garish but it could also work, the alaves shirt in question was blue and yellow and the names were either grey or yellow if i recall. In that case it worked. they will be so small that from anything more than a foot away it will just look like a complicated weave anyway.

It didn't look too bad the year Cas put season ticket holders names on the shirt, they were a really pale grey on a white shirt so it was barely noticeable from distance.
