Would like to see the stats after a few years of injuries at all grounds to see if there is any correlation. NFL found one between plastic and grass. I've been on 3G piches and would not like to play rugby on it thats for sure (and they aren't good for washing machines!). Will be interesting to see how this "4G" picth will compare. Good luck with it.

Call me cynical but it wouldnt be an attempt at gamesmanship to give you an extra advantage when you play at home now would it?

Thats a silly question given no one could possibly answer it to any degree of accuracy. I would say it's probably more down to Steve O Connor's business sense, you and other cynics will no doubt believe what you will believe and no one will ever be able to prove themselves right.

All visiting teams will be allowed to train on the pitch before they play us, Steve o'connor isn't going to pump half a million in to it for it to fail.

Do all teams have the same gradient? Grass cut? Watering of pitch for games I thought not?

What is the difference between this and a pitch with a slope or undersoil heating or the current ones that are part artificial?

Only on the agreement we can have our "captains run" on their pitch before the away fixture that is
