Would be disappointed if we hit under 4,500 against Catalan in all honesty (though guess form could dictate) but we were getting over 4,000 with minimal away fans at the end of last season.

at the time of his appointment maybe ! if he hadn't started the job then why should he speak french ? he has enough trouble with english FFS !

after many meetings with him over the past few years I can see he has made attempts to understand the basics of the french language and although not a great french speaker his understanding of the basics was improving rapidly especially when Cologni was helping.

I for one am sorry to see him ousted as he learned a lot from the early mistakes and the french players I speak with were impressed with his 'team' approach and all reckon the atmosphere was good and improving with each training session.

his big problem was the loss in confidence of Mr Larrat after the welsh defeat something which he could never recover from.

I asked whether what I read at the time was true, that he was not intending to learn the language.
