Wouldnt call it total disrespect from Wigan. thats an excuse they dont deserve. they rested what? three REAL first teamers? we have our top try scorer and first choice stand off missing, along with one of our first choice props. We beat them fair and square.

Great win today guys hope its the bit of confidence your guys need for more wins to compete with all the rest of the teams because on paper the individual quality of alot of your players is definately there anyway grats

Sam Tomkins, Pat Richards, Tommy L, Sean O'Loughlin and George Carmont.. which 3 are the real first teamers ?

Wigan's team selection was arrogant and they got what they deserved. The Widnes players would of seen that team sheet and been well up for it but don't doubt that the result would of been massively different if we hadn't "rested" them and Widnes had their full team out.

I choose to doubt it. You can't have it both ways, don't come on here playing the gallant loser and still throw in 'it would have been different if..........'. Its worse than just being a overtly sore loser.

Let's not forget WE had 2 young kids at for halfbacks and our best performer in the previous games missing so sort of evens it up a bit.

You can choose what you like, i don't really care. Widnes played well and deserved the win.

Not sure Wigan rested 'all' their players!?!?!? Widnes played well, battled and got a deserved victory against a team predicted to thrash us in any guise / line-up. I think we'll win a handful of games this season, hopefully more...

I genuinely think that they thought looking at the Videos of us in other matches that they could turn up with that team and win... however that was one of the best team displays I have seen for a long long time... since possibly Fev away in the NRC cup last year. It potentially could have been a little more comfortable had Flynn taken the pass out wide in the first half.

We did have a fair few players missing today ourselves.
Cross, Hanbury, Moore and Ah Van, that's not mentioning the long term injured of Watts and Kavanagh. No doubt the Wigan first teamers missing will be mentioned whilst our list won't get a word.
