sounds like you have short memorys of superleague pal the drubbings you have had , are you a recent follower ie Halliwell jones years, Remember who was first team to win at Halliwell Jones

you are right mate this lad must have a short memory because i can definitely remember watching some serious tripe at wilderspool and also watching some utter tripe at halliwell jones in the not too distant past

i hope you guys can get your act in gear with more signings of the standard of brown and more importantly getting yourself a top quality coach

and once that happens it'll be back to "divided we stand, united we fall" (anyone remember that flag at naughton park?)

Its just Banter really but does hit a nerve lol ,team cant get any lower really but Tony smith is the Bench mark coach great team at Hj now play great Rugby too hope well be better at our place !

I said on this board many times last season that Widnes would be an embarrassment in SL and should NEVER have been given a licence and have been proved to be spot on.

The RFL only granted you a licence so they wouldn't have to put up with 3 more years of you moaning and bleating about not getting in as what happened when you were refused in 2008.

Widnes remind me of warrington from our last few years at the zoo. It takes time to build a team that works and knows each others moves its took us long enough lol.

Widnes will come good just give them time.

Ps kevin brown is exactly what you needed, a leading halfback that can organise things.

I am totaly in favour of you guys being back in SL

Unfortunately you are not a competitive team at this level at the moment and that is due to incompetences of the way SL is run.

You have to look at this as a 5 year project to get competitive and don't look at weekly results and the table.

Personally I would get rid of the old has beens you have and nurture young talent and take loan players for a full season and gradually build. A good example was O'Brien he was good for you although only for 4 games and we have benefited from that.

Always look forward to the derbies and of course beating you is always fun. Good luck for the rest of the season.
