You had some decent backs missing. The missing forwards (bar Hock) are distinctly ordinary and that is where you will struggle. my point was that missing 4 very high quality first pick forwards is not a near full strength team.

Sure you will have a better season in 2013 and put foundations down for an even better 2014.

Difference is i also se Huddersfield as a Top 6 side, and i agree our forwards need to improve.It will take time, but we will get there eventually mate.I feel with Briscoe,Ah Van,Phelps,Brown,Hock and Pickgesgill back in the team, we will be stronger.I do not look into friendlies too much, but i am happier with the team this year than last season.

I sure did matey, and maybe teams will respect us more now.Hopefully more away fans travel to the Stobarts, thinking be a closer game than last year.Be nice to see Widnes eventually a top 8 team, as i love a good atmosphere and game.Look forward to the season now.

didnt enjoy my trip to widnes last year!!!!!!

can be a difficult place to get a win...with that ipitch helping you too
