You've got to remember that just over 3 years ago we were a championsip club, to go from that to a club that was never out of the playoffs throughout the entire season is absolutely spectacular achievement. Not to mention the sustainability of the club, good finances and terrific voluntary and community support work. I thought Cas would have got it but we dont know how they criteria it and there are definitely alot of arguements that go in Widnes' favour that outweigh the one day of madness at LSV.
I understand the positive steps Widnes have made in the last three years, and wasn't even alluding to the idiots at LSV.
The reason I thought Cas would win it by a country mile was the improvement over the playing year 2014, and that, after all is what the accolade is all about, the 2014 season alone.
