Whilst I agree that Widnes fans have no right to claim that they have any more history than Halifax – to do so just shows a lack of knowledge of RL history itself - but we have been more successful and the difference simply does not come down to ‘one good year’.

I have seen both clubs history on the websites etc.Fax fans think they are better because they been to the last 2 grand finals.I dislike them just as much as wire now.Swinton have won the league 6 times and does not mean they are a bigger club than Widnes?I would be honest if we was competing with Wigan, and say Wigan are bigger than Widnes.The problem with a few Fax fans is they keep slagging our 5th spot in the league, and saying we do not deserve the licence.It all about the league postion to them, and i really hope we shut them up this year.

The RFL have caused all this bitterness with franchising to be honest.Wish teams could spend what they like, and the best go up.We would be ok now with a rich owner and decent fan base.Anyway i think i will stay off this site until after the franchising.It all winds me up, so better if i do not look on here for awhile.

It's all wrong though. What you've said there in your previous quote is all wrong. That's not how sport should be. Not your fault. Not the fault of Widnes either. The RFL are changing this great game of ours and i'm not sure it's for the best.

i would stay away until the 31st. but i quit smoking today, so im going to need something to kick off about for the next several days
anyone messes with my vikings homies, or even littlerich (we all know your a secret viking) send them my way, i predict over the next few days i will be willing to take on anyone in hand to hand combat
