Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
Point 1, we are on an equal footy with Cas and Huddersfield when it comes to franchise points regarding attendances....Fact!
Point 2, that's just an a opinion of yours. When it comes to franchise on stadiums points we score the same as Cas, Bradford, Salford and Hull KR. In other words they are all dumps and score nothing.
Point 3, much to your disappointment all bills have now been paid. As a Widens fan I would feel a bit embarrassed about bringing up such a subject considering your recent history.
Point 2 is all you really need to worry about.
The RFL have said that a club from SL will be relegated in 2012 to make way for a Championship club. So those clubs you mention are the clubs you are competing with, and not Widnes. Starbug has tried to point this out to you.
We are competing with Halifax, Barrow, Leigh, Fev and Toulouse. Comparing Widnes against Wakey is totally pointless. So I would suggest you go on the boards of Cas, Bradford, Salford and Hull KR, and try to convince them that wakey are wonderful and that they have no god given right for a SL place, as this sort of thing seems to make you feel better about the future of your club for some reason.
I'm embarrassed reading these posts by deeHell and stantrin and i'm not even a Widnes fan (I'm not Dalton, honest )
It's cringeworthy. Just to bring everyone up to a level of sanity may i suggest that these two (or the same user) probably don't represent true Wakefield fans or indeed any Rugby League fan. I'm confused as to why deeHell has suddenly popped up on your board. My conclusion has to be the paper thin announcement about his club's "new stadium" and is privately picking as many holes in it as the rest of us. This board is just a vent to release the frustration of a last ditch attempt by his club to survive in SL. I'll repeat their general managers words at the time of the last round of franchises: "But certainly for the next franchise bid in three years we will need to be in or at least very close to opening the doors of a new stadium"
Personally speaking, I think Wrexham will struggle and fall. I think Widnes will replace them. Will another club be also ready to move up a league? I doubt it - much to the relief of those clubs who haven't fulfilled their Licence credentials. Wakefield are one of those clubs. FACT (as deeHell succintly puts everything).

I have noticed that some of the fans of clubs at risk of dropping out of SL in the next round of licences are attacking Widnes, and its fans, on the VT. They put forward any Championship club they can think of, that clearly aren’t ready, as an alternative, in the full knowledge that their club would stand up better against them than they actually would against Widnes. One fan even suggested Whitehaven would be a better club to promote.
Things seem to be getting pretty desperate out there, and I think we’ll see a lot more of this kind of thing over the next couple of years.
At least we can sit tight and keep our heads down with the club working towards it's goal. Let these desperado's cry all they want. We know we're firmly on course for 2012 and there is nothing the few whinging fans of at risk clubs can do about it other than spew their futile nonsense on messageboards.
I couldn't give a flying fart about Wakefields licence aspirations so why are these two clowns so interested in ours?Unless of course they feel just a teeny bit insecure and threatened. It's actually quite a compliment that such an insignificant small club like ours with recent financial problems and a cat in hell's chance of a SL licence in 2012 is still a target for internet morons like dumb and dumber. If we are no threat then why even bother coming here. The truth is that the mighty Widnes are still a bigger club in the lower leagues than some clubs with current SL status and we have a great chance of a licence next time.

Bang on!
How many clubs currently in SL could build up a club that has everything in place that Widnes have, almost entirely from the lower leagues?
Many of them cannot even do it in SL.
The moment we are back in SL our metrics will immediately go up another notch and surpass even more of those clubs currently in SL. I doubt that Wakey, Hudds, Cas, Salford and several other clubs would be anywhere near Widnes if they had been in this league as long as we have.
Would they be able to run a full academy system for 6 years?
Would they be able to sustain a support base of 3,500 – 4,000 for 6 years?
Would they have, and be able to maintain, the kind of infrastructure Widnes have at their club for 6 years?
No chance! That is a measure of our strength as a club.
Too right, that GF performance in 2007 was a total joke and they still claim they have some right to be in SL.
I agree,it was mickey poor performance and to rub salt into the wounds the club went into administration soon after. The club was on it's knees but rebuilt in such a short period that it managed to put forward a half decent SL application only 8 months later,an application that was awarded a C grade alongside some of the then current SL clubs including yours.Fancy that, the mighty Wakefield only managing a C grade alongside a lower division club recently in administraton..Deny it all you like but Widnes' next application will be even stronger than last time.No wonder you are crapping it.
I am not even biting to be honest as i know your a child or a complete loser in life.If your a adult i would not have you in my army section. If you was then you get one hell of a beasting, for been such a idiot. Most of the wakefield fans are decent people.I never wish bad on any club, but i do think widnes are worthy of a chance in superleague.Well seems to me dell hell posted this post for a reaction.Well he has got one and not many agree with you morons. As i have said i be happy to have this debate in person with you.My widnes mates be happy to sit at the table, then put you and dee hell in the stress postion.
