Relax Soldierboy,every club has a small minority of retarded fans on the internet and the Wakefield delegation are reperesented here.
Widnes' administration of 2007 was the saving grace for a few C graded yorkshire clubs at the licence decision,their get out of jail card.But that card has now been played and cannot be repeated next time.Leave em to it mate,they are shatting bricks,and not the type that builds stadiums.

I am confident widnes have a great backing in stobarts,as it a major sponsor,good fan base here, and with potential to get bigger if in superleague.Only team in the championship with a academy set up and a good stadium.

I maybe wrong, but I thought that the RFL said that at least one Championship Club would be accepted into SL for 2012. No mention of 'demoting' a current SL club, although that is the most probable outcome.

I haven’t got the link, but the RFL have recently stated that a current SL club will be dropped.

I think the term was , It was ' likely ' that a team would be dropped , leading most to think that any Tv deal would not be increased enough to support any more british teams in SL , and possibly the reason the RFL would be interested in Stade Francais if they can find their own french TV money

About time the french put money into their own game.Why we funding the french?We need to help our own teams before the heartlands die.If widnes went i never support any other team so rfl need to think better.It a northern sport rugby league.Any expansion should be done gradual not miles away from m62 corridor.
