There was no moaning from anyone at the Widnes club peawapp.A good few supporters moaned because they were very disappointed,it's called human nature.But the club itself handled the rejection with the utmost dignity.

All those things make perfect sense, but at the same time mean nothing. Halifax, Widnes or Leigh will only get a licence if the RFL want you to get one. That has little to do with licence criteria or playing well in your competition.

Over the past couple of weeks I have come to the conclusion Widnes Vikings RLFC should probably consider a ground swap with somebody from the Isle of Man. Still keep our name, but possibly throw in a 'manx' somewhere. Need to make sure the matchday facilities are as primitive as possible. With this in mind, the RFL surely could not deem us anything other than a foot in for 2012.
