Not going to bite regarding your ambition comment, but Widnes completely bullied Fev earlier in the year, bullied Barrow in the NRC final and bullied Fax the other week. IMO we didn't win the game on Sunday for 2 reasons, 1) poor defending on our own line - fev seemed to score almost everytime they got in our 20. 2) we looked a bit clueless in the fev 20 with ball in hand. A few chips and grubbers kicks were dangerous, but the passing was slow and apart from Thackeray there was no-one who looked line breaking the line close in. There were far too many inside balls to forwards who were stood still and had no chance of barging over. When we did try to get it wide, the passing slow and the defence was easily good enough to cope.

Not a terrible performance from Widnes, just a little flat and lack of killer instinct to put the game to bed when we had the opportunities.

What do you mean not going to bite, i was returning a arrogant "go to fev if you have no ambition" comment, we have the same ambition as Widnes, that being super league, we have plans for a 50 million development including new stadium on the 18 acres of land we own. We are not reliant on ONE money man. The remark i replyd to sums up to me why you lost Sun, your players and fans think your already in super league and a cut above teams like Rovers. YOU ARE NOT, be careful because like Halifax your arrogance will be your undoing

Rovers you tool - see me for a prescription. You need help with that complex of yours!!!

Look we all have ambition. Rovers do not want to 'tread water' in the championship though this is the best comp by far this year for sheer excitement. It would be a handicappers dream of 6 horses in a line going into the final furlong. But SL is still the holy grail for most championship clubs.

Whether we sign Grayshon, or anyone else from Widnes remains to be confirmed by the club. But to suggest a player has no ambition if they sign for a rival of Widnes is a little churlish I feel, but only my opinion. (Well 'rovers' as well despite his eloquence)!

I think thats abit unfair to say, after all Widnes is not the best in the league
so what they have a tick for superleague but so will another club next year if widnes don't win the NRC again and who ever wins the grand final.
