Would that be the bulk of the squad thats a country mile ahead of the rest , yet managed to finish second in the table and fail to reach the NRC final.
Only time will tell if they can pull of a grand final appearence this year but if they dont you could have signed up a squad that under performs again.

i will have nightmares
it has been noticed by all our fans that we lack a stand off and in some ways we have improved this year from the previous.
with Graham Holroyd we finished 3rd this year no stand off and second.
we alkso have been documented that in big games the forwards dont win the battle. with aizue coming in though and Maloney already here as well.
that pack should be stronger.
plus if Branaghan does come then we will have sorted that stand off position.

Absolutely reverend. I think our problem was that we won 13 on the bounce and assumed that it would continue. We are a top four side - nothing more really. Hull KR and Castleford seemed to dominate all the way through the season when they were down here. We (nor anyone else) have not managed to follow that example in 2009. |

Dont think thats down too a lack of domination from anyone , more of a more even competition.
Barrow Widnes Fax Haven Sheff and Fev could all turn each other over on any given day. Batley Toulouse GHead have all done teams at times. Its just a good comp all in all, with no really eay to predict games.
