How do you think Widnes will do? I think fourth will be a great result for you guys, seing as though you've taken the foot off the gas with that ticked box and all. Should still be a keen contest next year.
Not too sure to be honest Rich.Maybe fourth behind Barrow Featherstone and Fax perhaps fifth.Theres not much margin for error though in this league so we need to make sure we are unbeaten at home.
Quite pleased with the signings of Pickersgill,Ford and Haggerty, don't know too much about the young lads signed.Seems we are waiting in the wings to make 'dual' signings or loans as they are better known. It's starting to peeve me a little bit now with Widnes, this reliance on loan players and I am not alone. It was a culture started by the previous manager and to be honest I had hoped Paul Cullen would have nipped it in the bud by now but he seems to be likeminded to his predecessor on this issue.Fair enough,Hall,Penny and Picks helped us win the Rails cup last year but when they returned we just weren't the same side.I would like to see Widnes build an established team once and for all with just two or three additions each year with a similar number leaving.God only knows how many player's have represented us in the past few years.
